If you're going to connect the ladder line to a tuner (of course!), you
don't have to worry about the spacing. Any change in spacing will just
change the current/voltage ratio and the phase relationship that the
tuner sees, and you'll just end up with a slightly different setting for
the knobs. Give it a try - it'll work fine.

Just don't believe the ads for Diamond antennas. They are not DC grounded
(capactive coupled). They admitted it when we called them.
